Partizan locks up teenage guard Trifunovic for 4 years
Partizan NIS Belgrade invested in its future by signing a long term deal with guard Uros Trifunovic, the club announced on Saturday. Trifunovic (2.00 meters, 19 years old), who signed a four-year deal, cam to Partizan two years ago and has made his 7DAYS EuroCup debut last season. In nine appearances he posted 5.4 points and 1.7 rebounds. His numbers jumped during the Top 16 when he posted 6.4 points on 40% three-point shooting with 2.2 rebounds. Trifunovic started the season on-loan with Mega Bemax. He has also played for Mladost Zemun in the Serbian League and spent time with Pinar Karsiyaka in Turkey. Trifunovic was a member of the gold-winning Serbian squad at the U18 European Championship in 2018.
