Joventut Badalona brought back a familiar face to its roster, none other than Ferran Bassas, who penned a three-year deal with the Spanish powerhouse on Thursday. Bassas (1.83 meters, 28 years old) arrives from San Pablo Burgos, where he averaged 8.5 points on 41.4% three-point shooting and 4.4 assists in 29 Spanish League games last season, helping his team reach the semifinals for the first time. He started his career in Badalona, with Joventut's junior team and its associated squad, Prat Joventut. Bassas made his Joventut first team debut in the 2011-12 season but left in 2013, joining Oviedo Club Baloncesto in the Spanish second division. He has also played for Iberostar Tenerife before joining Burgos a year ago. He helped Tenerife win the Basketball Champions League title in 2017 and lifted the 2018 Intercontinental Cup trophy with the same club. Bassas has also been a member of the Spanish national team.
