UNICS extends head coach Priftis
UNICS Kazan signed a new agreement with head coach Dimitris Priftis that will keep him on the bench for at least one more year, with an option to extend his contract for another season, the club announced on Saturday. He also guided the team to the EuroCup semifinals a year earlier, and took UNICS to the last two VTB League's semifinals. Priftis, who made his EuroCup debut on Aris Thessaloniki bench in the 2015-16 campaign, has 37-19 record in the competition on UNICS bench during a three-year span. Priftis has also worked for Dafni, Ionikos, AEK, Panathinaikos Athens and the Greek national team as an assistant coach.
