Partizan brings Dangubic back to Belgrade

Partizan NIS Belgrade announced the signing of small forward Nemanja Dangubic on Friday. Dangubic (2.04 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Movistar Estudiantes, where he averaged 5.8 points and 4.4 rebounds in 23 Spanish League games last season. He has played in his native Serbia for most of his career with stops at Kris Kros Pancevo, Hemofarm Vrsac, Mega Vizura and Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade, as well as for FC Bayern Munich of Germany.

Dangubic helped Zvezda win three consecutive Adriatic League titles and as many Serbian League crowns from 2015 to 2017, adding a Serbian Cup trophy in 2015. He also won the German League title with Bayern in 2019. Dangubic has also been a member of the Serbian national team. In 114 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague career games with Zvezda and Bayern, Dangubic has amassed 578 points (5.1 ppg.) and 263 rebounds (2.3 rpg.). He is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Partizan.

”I am very happy to be part of the Partizan team and organization,” Dangubic said. “I know a lot of my new teammates from before, I played with some of them at the beginning of my career and I have known them for a very long time. I also know the professional staff from before. Working with coach Vlado Scepanovic, I am happy and very motivated before the new season.”
