Dolomiti Energia Trento strengthened its backcourt by inking point guard Gary Browne to a one-year deal, the club announced Tuesday. Browne (1.85 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul, where he averaged 10.8 points and 3.6 assists in 15 7DAYS EuroCup games last season, in which he helped his team reach the Turkish Cup championship game. He started his career with Maratonistas de Coamo of Puerto Rico back in 2015. He also played for Atleticos de San German also of Puerto Rico, as well as for Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona of Israel before joining Darussafaka in 2019. Browne has also been a member of the Puerto Rican national team, helping it win a gold medal at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia.
