Buducnost adds size with Apic

Buducnost VOLI Podgorica added size to its roster by signing Dragan Apic to a two-year contract, the club announced Wednesday. Apic (2,06 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Spanish club San Pablo Burgos, where he collected 7.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 12 Spanish League games last season. The Serbian native started the 2019-20 campaign with 7DAYS EuroCup side Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, having collected 4.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10 games. Apic began his professional basketball career with Vrsac and then moved to Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, but he played for FMP for four seasons on loan. He did make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Zvezda in 2018-19, scoring 4 points in three games. The next season he moved from FMP to Lokomotiv and collected 7.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in four EuroCup games before the move to Spain.
