Three-time All-EuroLeague center Ante Tomic will make his debut in the 7DAYS EuroCup this season after signing a multi-year deal with Joventut Badalona on Sunday. The contract is for two seasons with an option for a third year. Tomic (2.17 meters, 33 years old) has spent the past eight seasons with nearby FC Barcelona, for which he made 236 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague appearances. He is the EuroLeague all-time leader in two-point shots made with 1,137, ranks fourth with 1,545 rebounds and 10th in scoring with 2.780 points.
Tomic helped Barcelona reach the Final Four in 2013 and 2014, and earned All-EuroLeague First Team honors in each of those two seasons, before becoming a second-team selection in 2015. Tomic helped Barcelona win Spanish League crowns in 2013 and 2014, and Spanish Cup titles in 2013 and 2018. Before his time with Barcelona, Tomic played two and a half seasons with Real Madrid, during which he reached his first Final Four and won the 2012 Spanish Cup. Tomic began his career with Dubrovnik in his native Croatia and also played for KK Zagreb before joining Real.
