JL Bourg made its second signing in as many days by bringing in center Darel Poirier as it prepares for its maiden 7DAYS EuroCup campaign. Poirier (2.07 meters, 23 years old) returns home to France after spending the past two seasons abroad. He averaged 8.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in five games for Windy City in the D-League last season. A hip injury ended his season in February, however, Poirier rehabilitated from the injury with the help of the Bourg medical staff, which was able to get to know the player and his work ethic and that paved the way to the signing. Poirier began his career with Cholet and also spent a season on loan at Charleville-Meziere before he first ventured overseas in 2018 to play for Capital City in the D-League.
