Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar reached a new agreement with power forward Johnny O'Bryant to keep working together next season, the club announced Tuesday. O'Bryant (2.04 meters, 27 years old) averaged 13.8 points and 5.1 rebounds in 10 7DAYS EuroCup games with Lokomotiv last season. He boosted those numbers up to 16.4 points and 5.7 rebounds in 20 VTB League games.
O'Bryant spent the 2018-19 season with Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv, where he averaged 10.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 30 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague appearances. A member of the USA national team at the youth levels, O'Bryant began his professional career in the NBA, where he played for Milwaukee, Denver and Charlotte. He was also a 2017 D-League All-Star selection for Northern Arizona. He helped Maccabi win the Israeli League title in 2019.
