Promitheas adds size with Agbelese

Promitheas Patras bolstered its froncourt by inking big man Danny Agbelese for the up-coming season, the club announced on Wednesday. Agbelese (2.06 meters, 30 years old) arrives from Kolossos H Hotels, where he averaged 9.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 20 Greek League games last season. He had 18 points and a season-high 5 blocks in a game against Promitheas. Agbelese started his career in Esteghlal Qeshm of Iran and has also played for Union Atletica Montevideo and Wanderers Pyasandu of Uruguay, Ceba Guadalajara and Gipuzkoa Basket of Spain, AGO Rethymno Aegean and Holargos of Greece, Enel Basket Brindisi of Italy, and Elan Bearnais Pau-Orthez of France. He is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Promitheas in the 2020-21 season.
