Monaco adds star quality with Knight

AS Monaco has added star quality with the recruitment of multi-talented point guard Marcos Knight, who was recently named MVP of the German league finals. Knight, 30 years old, has joined the principality club after inspiring MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg all the way to the German title game by pairing 26 points with 13 rebounds in a semi-finals victory over Ratiopharm Ulm. He couldn't take his team past ALBA Berlin to lift the trophy, but was still named Finals MVP at the end of an outstanding season which saw him average 16.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. Knight graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2013 and played in Europe with Baunach, Heidelberg, Jena, Zaragoza and Afyon before joining Ludwigsburg in 2018.
