Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul locked up a young talent for its future by signing Ahmet Safa Yilmaz to a five-year contract, the club announced Wednesday. Yilmaz (2.06 meters, 18 years old) arrives from Galatasaray, where he averaged 17.6 points, 11.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 10 games in Turkey's U19 league last season. Yilmaz, who missed 20 months of basketball with injuries prior to the 2018-19 season, also collected 14.9 points, 10.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 11 games for Tekvikiye in the same U19 league before moving mid-season to Galatasaray. He will be making his 7DAYS EuroCup debut.
