ratiopharm Ulm added two pieces to its roster on Friday with point guard Troy Caupain and center Isaiah Wilkins, who each signed one-year deals. Caupain (1.93 meters, 24 years old) has started last season with Hapoel Holon in Israel and finished it with Oostende in Belgium. He averaged 10.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists in the Israeli League with Holon, and only played two Belgian League games with Oostende before the pandemic, posting 7.0 points, 2.5 assists and 2.0 rebounds. In his professional career, Caupain spent two seasons with Lakeland in the NBA G-League and had a brief stint with Pallacanestro Udine in the Italian second division. Wilkins (2.03 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Polpharma Starogard Gdanski in Poland, where last season he averaged 10.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks in 15 appearances in the Polish League. Wilkins previously played a season with Greensboro in the G-League, and Canterbury Rams in New Zealand. Both players are now set to make their respective 7DAYS EuroCup debuts.
