Maccabi Rishon Lezion brought back a familiar face with the signing of Golan Gutt for the coming season, the club announced Monday. Gutt (1.91 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Nes-Ziona where he averaged 9.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 28 Israeli League games last season.
The shooting guard started his career with Hapoel Lev Hasharon before joining Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Gutt played for Rishon in the 2015-16 season, when the club won its only Israeli League crown. After that, he went to Nes-Ziona for the past four years. He also plays for the Israeli national team. Gutt will be making his 7DAYS EuroCup debut.
