UNICS Kazan, Partizan NIS Belgrade and Promitheas Patras all started up their preparations for the 2020-21 season as nearly the entire 7DAYS EuroCup field is back to practice. UNICS head coach Dimitris Priftis received a contract extension for this season and will have his sights set on leading the club to its second EuroCup crown, following 2011. Priftis has many new players to form into a unit as Nate Wolters, Isaiah Canaan, Jordan Morgan, John Holland and John Brown are all newcomers. UNICS will start its EuroCup campaign on September 30 at Umana Reyer Venice. Partizan head coach Vlado Scepanovic brought back many of the team’s main leaders from last season, including Nemanja Gordic, Marcus Paige and Zade Zagorac. The team also welcomed back Nemanja Dangubic and added playmaker Codi Miller-McIntyre. Partizan opens its season on September 30 at Joventut Badalona. Promitheas meanwhile also started its preparations for season two in the EuroCup. Head coach Makis Giatras added some depth in the paint with Mouhammad Faye, Jehyve Floyd and Danny Agbelese to go with returning Dimitris Agravanis, veteran Charis Giannopoulos and guards Ian Miller and Diante Garrett. Promitheas will begin the season on September 30 at home against Herbalife Gran Canaria.
