Frutti Extra Bursaspor appointed Dusan Alimpijevic as a new head coach for the remainder of this season, replacing Tutku Acik who split up with the team earlier this week. Alimpijevic, 34, who last coached Avtodor Saratov in Russia, takes over a Bursaspor team which currently sits at the bottom of Group D with a 0-6 record. Alimpijevic made his head coaching breakthrough in the 2017-18 season, as a 31-year old, leading Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade to an 11-19 record in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, and guiding the club to the Adriatic League finals. Alimpijevic started his coaching career at age 22, working in Novi Sad and Vojvodina in his native Serbia, where he made his head-coaching debut. He also headed the bench for Spartak Subotica before joining FMP Zeleznik in 2016. He will now be making his 7DAYS EuroCup debut.
