FabFive tips: The EuroCup Finals

The 7DAYS EuroCup reaches the end of the season with the best-of-three EuroCup Finals. That also means we face our last two or three times to compete in the EuroCup FabFive Challenge, depending on the length of the finals.

Needless to say, there are not too many choices in the FabFive Challenge for the remaining games. Only 24 players will be registered for each game, so every choice is critical to challenge for the round prize - a subscription to EuroLeague TV for the 2021-22 season. The not-so-obvious choices may give you an edge, but playing it safe is often the best move.

With that in mind, we present a list of FabFive Challenge recommendations that has a little bit of everything. Check out our suggestions for the EuroCup Finals!

Range 1 (0 to 3.99) – There are plenty of players at this level, but the best scorer by far is Evgeny Kolesnikov. He was in the 2014 EuroCup Finals with UNICS and if given the opportunity, Kolesnikov is a good three-point shooter with deep range.

Range 2 (4 to 7.99) – Jordan Theodore stepped up big in the semifinals series against Virtus Segafredo Bologna and is one of the four players available at this level. Theodore will see playing time and is a great one-on-one player who can pull the trigger from downtown.

Range 3 (8 to 11.99) – J.J. O'Brien is a good player who can score in many ways. He played well in the semifinals against Herbalife Gran Canaria, scoring 11 points in Game 1 and doing even better with 15 points in Game 2. He should be one of Monaco's pillars.

Range 4 (12 to 14.99) – Only two players available at this level and both of them play of UNICS. John Brown and Okaro White are expected to see solid playing time against Monaco. We are picking White because of his versatility, but both players should do well in the finals.

Range 5 (15.0 or higher) – Since Monaco plays at home in Game 1 and UNICS will be the hosts after that, we will go with different players. In Monaco, Rob Gray should try to make the difference but when the series travels to Kazan, we will switch to EuroCup MVP Jamar Smith.

Make sure to follow the games on Tuesday and Friday to enjoy the EuroCup FabFive Challenge to the fullest!
