Frutti Extra Bursaspor reached a new agreement with forward Metin Turen to stay together next season, the club announced Saturday. Turen (2.07 meters, 27 years old) averaged 9.5 points on 50.0% three-point shooting and 4.8 rebounds in 6 7DAYS EuroCup games last season. He started his career with Darussafaka Istanbul and also played for Yesilgiresun Belediye, Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir and Turk Telekom Ankara before joining Bursaspor in 2020. Turen has also been a member of the Turkish national tean. He helped Turkey get a gold medal at the 2014 U20 European Championships, and respective bronze medals at the 2010 U16 European Championships and the 2011 U18 European Championships. In 16 EuroCup games with Telekom and Bursaspor, Turen averaged 5.6 points and 3.5 rebounds.
