Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana invested in its future signing a four-year deal with power forward Blaz Habot, the club announced on Tuesday. Habot (2.06 meters, 20 years old) arrives a fellow Slovenian side Hopsi Polzela, where he averaged 4.8 points and 1.9 rebounds in the Slovenian League. Habot started his professional career with Konjice in the third Slovenian division, before joining Hopsi last year. He will now have a chance to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut.
"We have followed Blaz Habot the entire last season", Cedevita head coach Jurica Golemac said. "He is making an unbelievable progress and wants to work. We are certain that by signing Blaz we made an excellent move."
