Limoges CSP added another weapon by signing small forward James Southerland on Tuesday. Southerland (2.04 meters, 24 years old) spent the preseason with Portland of the NBA. He also played briefly for New Orleans and Charlotte in the NBA last season. Southerland played a greater role for Los Angeles in the D-League, where in 42 games last season he averaged 14.7 points and 6.5 rebounds. Before that, he played four seasons of college basketball at Syracuse University. Limoges will be his first European club. He could make his debut on Thursday against Maccabi Electra in Tel Aviv.
