EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge: good deals

The 2018-19 EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge is up and running. We gave you a list of tips and very valuable advice to use against your friends and the rest of the competition. Now, it is time to look at the players' prices and recommend some of them. We think some of the players are undervalued and should give you a big boost in the standings – as well as instant cash, which is critical at the start of the fantasy season. Which players do we like? Find out here!

10. Pierre Oriola, FC Barcelona Lassa, 790,000. He had a solid start in the Spanish League. In his second EuroLeague season, as the team's second captain, a lot is expected from Oriola, whose quick hands and overall effectiveness make him an interesting fantasy player at a very reasonable price.

9. Chris Evans, Herbalife Gran Canaria, 770,000. A EuroLeague newcomer, Evans played 25 minutes in Gran Canaria's first Spanish League game. His versatility and the fact that Kim Tillie was sidelined helped him put up good numbers – 14 points, 5 rebounds. It could be a good moment to sign him.

Nate Wolters - Zalgiris Kaunas Media Day 2018 - EB18

8. Nate Wolters, Zalgiris Kaunas, 805,000. He had a great start to the season with Zalgiris and seems to be really motivated for his EuroLeague return. In his team's first three Lithuanian League games, Wolters averaged 12.7 points and 3.3 assists in less than 22 minutes on court.

7. Alec Peters, CSKA Moscow, 965,000. A power forward with unlimited range who scored 36 points in an NBA game last spring? That seems promising. Peters will take some opponents by surprise – and since CSKA plays at home in two of its three opening games, he could be the team's x-factor.

6. Petteri Koponen, FC Bayern Munich, 945,000. His price is really low and his preseason has been really remarkable. Koponen is playing a leading role as Bayern's top scorer and go-to guy. Expect a lot of good stuff from Koponen, who is in the prime of his career.

Jordan Mickey - Khimki Moscow Region Media Day 2018 - EB18

5. Jordan Mickey, Khimki Moscow Region, 770,000. A very pleasant surprise. Mickey had very impressive games throughout his team's preseason, giving Khimki another scoring weapon to complement Alexey Shved and Anthony Gill. Mickey seems to be ready for a big challenge – his first EuroLeague season.

4. Yoval Zoosman, Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv, 455,000. It has been clear since preseason that Zoosman will play a key role for Maccabi and see a lot of quality playing time. Zoosman will be extremely motivated to help Maccabi do better this season. Very good price for an important player on a very good team.

3. Zach LeDay, Olympiacos Piraeus, 840,000. He reached the 30-point mark twice in this preseason. LeDay even had a PIR of 46 at some point -- 31 points, 11 rebounds. If he is able to post those numbers again, he will be your go-to Fantasy guy not just in the beginning of the season, but all year long.

2. Edwin Jackson, Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, 1,035,000. It is no secret that Jackson can score -- he has been doing that throughout his career. Jackson is expected to be Buducnost's first choice on offense this season, and that kind of quality playing time can make the difference in any fantasy game.

1. Oguz Savas, Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul, 210,000. The best value you will find in Fantasy Challenge. Savas has led Darussafaka in scoring several times during this preseason. At age 31, he is a young veteran with extensive responsibilities and loads of experience. What's not to like?
