Valencia Basket signed Brock Motum to a two-year deal. The big man arrives from Anadolu Efes Istanbul, which he helped reach the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Championship Game last season. Motum (2.08 meters, 28 years old) averaged 6.5 points on 44.0% three-point shooting in the second of his two seasons with Efes. He also helped the team win the Turkish League last season and the Turkish Cup the year before.
Motum debuted in the EuroLeague with Zalgiris Kaunas in 2015. Over the last four seasons, he has appeared in 114 EuroLeague games in which he's averaged 8.2 points and 2.7 rebounds, while knocking down 99 three-pointers on 41.6% shooting. After playing college basketball at Washington State University, Motum made his European debut with Virtus Bologna of Italy in 2013 and spent the following season with Adelaide 36ers in his native Australia. Motum has become a regular with the Australian national team in recent years and with the Boomers won the gold medal at the 2015 Oceanian Championship and played at the 2014 Basketball World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games.
