Fresh off its Spanish Supercopa victory the night before, Real Madrid opened its doors on Monday to journalists for the club's official Media Day celebrating the imminent start of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season. The players and coaches from one of the world's best-known clubs spent several hours doing interviews, photoshoots and social media. Real has one of the most stable rosters in the EuroLeague, so newcomers like Nicolas Laprovittola and Jordan Mickey drew a lot of attention. Many of the other players spent time talking with local and official media about their quest to take back the EuroLeague trophy that the team won in 2015 and 2018. That quest will begin for Real with a tantalizing home opener on Thursday, October 3, when Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul comes to town in a rematch of their 2018 championship game.
