EuroLeague week on social media

ANOTHER WAY TO SCORE: EuroLeague's leading scorer has a new way of making triples.

ONE TEAM WEEK: One Team took center stage this week as clubs across the continent hosted special events to celebrate Euroleague Basketball's social responsibility program. All players and referees wore specially-designed blue turquoise shoelaces bearing the hashtag #WeAreAllOneTeam.

MEETING OLD FRIENDS: Crvena Zvezda guard Charles Jenkins and Baskonia sharpshooter Matt Janning go way back, to their college days starting in 2007 when for three years in a row they went head to head, Jenkins with Hofstra, and Janning with Northeaster. In recent years that rivalry, but also friendship, has translated onto EuroLeague floors. Zenit forward Andrey Zubkov, who was a teammate with both of them, was ready to greet them both on Twitter.

Panathinaikos head coach Rick Pitino did not miss an opportunity to spend time with FC Barcelona shooter Kyle Kuric, who he coached at the University of Louisville for four years.

Valencia got better of Zalgiris in Kaunas, but Zalgiris center Jock Landale and Valencia guard Vanja Marinkovic caught up before the game. They were teammates with Partizan NIS Belgrade last season.

JERSEY SWAP: Panathinaikos guard Jimmer Fredette and Barcelona center Brandon Davies were not just teammates in college at BYU. Fredette was even one of the groomsmen in Davies' wedding. It was a fun and a long awaited night for them in Barcelona, and they swapped jerseys to mark the occasion.

IMPRESSED, AND FUNNY: Fenerbahce's Derrick Williams and Khimki's Devin Booker were teammates at FC Bayern Munich last season. Booker had a career-night on Thursday, and Williams noticed.

WINNERS' CORNER: Maccabi ended a home losing streak against CSKA, while Real Madrid continued its winning streak.
