Valencia Basket added youth and talent to its roster by inking forward Jaime Pradilla to a four-year deal, the club announced Monday. Pradilla (2.02 meters, 19 years old) arrives from Casademont Zaragoza, with which he averaged 10.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in four Spanish League games last season. He started the 2019-20 campaign with Chocolates Trapa Valencia, averaging 5.5 points and 3.1 rebounds in 24 Spanish second division games. Pradilla returned to Zaragoza once his loan expired and shined in the Spanish League's end-of-season tournament, getting 10 points against MoraBanc Andorra, 12 against Herbalife Gran Canaria and 14 points against Real Madrid. Born in Zaragoza, Pradilla played for his hometown team and made his Spanish League debut during the 2018-19 campaign. He also helped the Spanish national team win gold medals at the FIBA U16 European Championship 2016 and the FIBA U18 European Championship 2019.
